AusMAb offers a wide variety of monoclonal antibody services that are designed to produce a product that is the perfect reagent for your applications. This includes antigenic peptide design, the development of hybridoma cell lines that secrete monoclonal antibodies specific for a given antigen, antibody harvesting, affinity purification, conjugation, fragmentation and immunoassay development. We have made antibodies to large and small peptides, proteins, organic molecules, and bacterial as well as viral antigens.

We specialise in the production and protein G affinity purification of monoclonal antibodies produced by any hybridoma cell line supplied by the client. This will normally take 5 weeks and includes weaning of cell lines in serum-free medium, loading of bioreactor, at least four weekly harvests and purification of the antibody in the harvests by protein G affinity chromatography.

All queries are promptly handled in a professional manner. We understand and appreciate that every project is unique and our hybridoma development programs are always tailored to the needs of the researcher. Therefore, we analyse and discuss all the important features of the antigens and the antibody characteristics required by each project. During the course of the project, we will keep the client up to date with regular email or telephone progress reports. The client is free to perform any part of the project and engage AusMAb to do the rest. For example, the client may choose to do the immunizations and provide AusMAb with a mouse ready to be used for the fusion. Or the client may choose to clone its own cell line after AusMAb has identified all the positive populations after fusion. We are as flexible as the client wants us to be.
